Our Animals Enrich Our Lives

The bonds between people and their pets are STRONG. So strong, in fact, that pets have been known to:

  • Improve mental health by lowering stress, decreasing depression, and increasing happiness (you can’t NOT smile at their goofy little faces)
  • Decrease feelings of loneliness and isolation (you’ll never use the bathroom alone again)
  • Enhance physical health by lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, and improving immunity (not to mention preventing your children from developing allergies)
  • Encourage physical fitness (go ahead and ignore a dog who wants to take a walk… we dare you!) 
  • Provide companionship to children with learning difficulties and help children weather difficult experiences
  • Help you make friends 

Humans and animals are inextricably linked and by helping animals, we are helping people!
